Dearest Colleagues,
The Vascular International Padova (VIP) Congress has the potential to be one of the most important Vascular and Endovascular scientific meetings of 2012.
The program will focus on treatment of arterial diseases: technical aspects and future perspectives will be discussed by an outstanding international faculty.
Several sessions dedicated to free papers selected by the scientific committee will permit the choice of the 3 best presentations. The winners will receive also reimbursement of the inscription fee and a free ticket for the gala dinner.
Every other year a specific geographic area will play a special role during the congress.
The 2012 VIP Congress preferred guests will be Latin America Vascular Surgeons, followed on 2014 by North Americans.
Padova has a prominent role in the history of sciences (Galilei, Copernico) and of medicine (Vesalius, Morgagni, Harvey, Falloppio) but it is also well known for its beatuy, homeland of Giotto’s masterpiece (Cappella degli Scrovegni Frescos), St. Anthony basilic church, Prato della Valle. The congress venue is located in the historical city center (28th, 29th, 30th June 2012, suggested arrival day on June 27th) still maintaining its medieval aspect so well described in Shakespeare’s “Taming of the Shrew”.
Padova is very close to Venice (25 km), Verona (45 Km), Treviso countryside and Dolomites area (100 Km). We recommend you to participate to this unique event together with your families and hope you will be able to extend your stay for few more days in order to enjoy one of the most amazing city all over the world.
